Placement cell
A Placement Cell is a vital unit of Teachers’ Training College, Bhagalpur. It focuses on providing career guidance, job placement to the student teacher. The main focus of the cell is to train the students on employability skill and to provide jobs in teaching area. Our placement cell tries best effort for the students. The Placement Cell is in the Career and Counselling Cell. Career and Counselling and Placement Cell guide students in choosing the appropriate path in future life of students. The Placement Cell acts as a bridge between the college and the schools and others educational institutions. Senior Assistant Professor Mr. H.P. Singh is appointed as Placement Officer of the college.
The B.Ed. is professional programme after completing this course the chances of job in teaching area is quite fair. Placement cell shaping young minds and inspiring future of student teacher.
Objectives of the Placement Cell
• Providing career counseling and guidance to student.
• Organizing workshops and seminars on resume building, interview skills and teaching techniques.
• Maintaining a database of potential employers and job opportunities.
• Facilitating internships and teaching practice for students.
• Conducting mock interviews and providing feedback to students.
• Collaborating with alumni for mentorship and job opportunities.
• Providing job market information and trends to students.
• Ensuring maximum placement of students in reputed schools and educational institutions.
• Students are trained to prepare their curriculum vitae, lesson plan writing and acquire interview skills and other soft skills
• The placement cell conveys information to the students at the fastest possible rate. Important advertisements regarding jobs and related information are displayed on a placement cell bulletin board.
• Each year students are notified and encouraged to attend different programs.
Some deserving students get job offer during their internship period. The private schools who recruit our students as teachers are very much satisfied by their performance and behavior. Few students get job in private schools in the year of 2023-24.
Some deserving and talented students get job in Government Schools in Bihar state in the year 2022-23, 2021-22, 2020-2 and 2019-20 respectively.
